Located in Adventure Bay road, the museum displaying historic maps, books, documents, paintings and drawing and other artifacts relating to the landings at Adventure Bay by famous Abel Tasman over James Cook and William Bligh as well as the French explorers and scientists D’Entrecasteaux, Flinders, Baudin and many more explorers. Opening hours: daily 10 am to 4 pm except Christmas day and good Friday or by arrangement.

THE HISTORY ROOM

The History Room is an excellent place for learning about Bruny Island’s past. If you’re looking for Bruny ancestors or historical information, they have some records dating back to 1800’s.
